jeff johnsen - VP Operations
Jeff has been with the IHS management team for over 4 years overseeing hotel operations in Atlanta and other markets. Jeff is a seasoned veteran of the hospitality industry, with over 25 years of General Manager, Multi-property, and Executive experience with major brands and management companies (Marriott, Renaissance, Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, Choice, and Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando) in corporate, convention, airport and resort environments, as well as operating independent luxury corporate and beach & golf resort properties. Jeff is a proud husband and father of three for more than 30 years, and is involved and active in many industry and community organizations.
carrie crigler - Area Director
Carrie has been in the hospitality industry for almost 30 years and with the IHS Management Team for 3 years overseeing operations and sales efforts for several properties in the Houston area. Her experience includes all aspects of the Sales and Marketing environment with brands such as Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Interstate Hotels & Resorts. She has worked in convention centers, city and rural properties as well as Five Star/Five Diamond resorts. Carrie is a Houston native, married and mother to three beautiful daughters and enjoys spending time with family.
As part of the IHS team, Carrie will be assisting the Texas City and Galveston markets in developing strategies to increase revenue, improve guest service scores, and also concentrate on sales and operations.

areej mazhar - Director of Corporate Affairs
Areej Mazhar graduated from University of Houston with a B.A. in Marketing and Management. Since then, she has worked in the retail and hospitality industry. Her career started in Houston, working at the Crowne Plaza in Catering and Sales.
As part of the IHS team Areej travels to several IHS properties and focuses on operations management. Aside from operations, Areej is responsible for opening regional offices in many states.

seema qureshi - Vice President Strategic Planning and Acquisition
Seema Qureshi has joined IHS as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Acquisition in 2011. Seema brings over eighteen years of experience in customer service and has worked diligently to find ways to enhance both the overall customer experience and operational efficiencies. Seema has leveraged these experiences in order to be an exemplary leader, a program innovator and a quality focused manager. She has also served as a Business Solutions manager to oversee the training, implementation and sustainability of new program initiatives throughout the US and Canada.
In addition to working with team members Seema has worked closely with on site management to fully engage in training processes and be prepared to continue new best practices regarding customer engagement and revenue development. Seema, continuously works to improve and provide optimal customer experience as well as identify opportunities to increase operational effectiveness in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
